Christian Slater is no longer available! The actor got married to his girlfriend, Brittany Lopez, in a spontaneous courthouse ceremony on Monday in Coral Gables, Florida.
According to a report from People.com, the actor, aged 44, and his fiancée, aged 26, decided to visit the courthouse to obtain their marriage license and ultimately chose to have a spontaneous courthouse wedding.
The couple, who got engaged over the summer, originally intended to have a small, cozy wedding in their backyard with close family and friends. But it seems that their excitement got the better of them!
Christian Slater, star of “True Romance,” is on his second marriage. He was previously married to Ryan Haddon. The couple has two children together, Jaden Christopher who is 14 years old, and Eliana Sophia who is 12.

Christian Slater marries Brittany Lopez
According to E! News, the actor from Nymphomaniac, who is 44 years old, married his girlfriend, Brittany Lopez, in Coral Gables, Fla. The couple obtained a marriage license and had a simple ceremony in front of a judge at a courthouse in the Miami area.
Slater has been married twice. His first marriage was to Ryan Haddon, with whom he has two children: a son named Jaden Christopher and a daughter named Eliana. Slater and Haddon got married in 2000 and separated in 2005.
Slater made the formal announcement of his engagement in February 2013 while appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon congratulated Slater on their engagement, to which Slater replied, “Yeah, that’s true,” and gave the audience a thumbs-up.
According to Slater, he met Lopez while staying on Florida’s Little Palm Island a few years ago. He described the situation to Fallon, saying, “I was sitting in my usual spot eating my oatmeal that morning, when this girl came walking along with another lady, a slightly older lady. The spot, it turns out, is known for people proposing to each other, so it was quite lovely. Next thing I know, she gets down on one knee and proposes to the older lady…I’ve seen a lot of crazy things in the Florida Keys! I was definitely intrigued, so I went over and sat down in my other usual spot.”
“I thought I had just witnessed a lovely lesbian engagement, so I approached to offer congratulations,” Slater recounted. “However, it turned out that it was her aunt, and she was just trying to capture the park’s loveliness and love for her aunt… Before I knew it, we were spending time together in the Everglades.”

In an announcement made today, it has been revealed that popular Hollywood actor Christian Slater will be getting married to his long-time girlfriend in a charming and private ceremony set to take place in their own garden in Miami this upcoming July.
According to Contactmusic, the 43-year-old star said that the wedding would be intimate and small.
Slater and his girlfriend Brittany Lopez have hired a wedding planner to assist them in planning their special day.
Slater confirmed that the couple threw a major engagement bash on December 31, attended by a crowd of 200 people.
